About Me & Art Holistic

Hi, I’m Remiza! I blog from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have been living in Malaysia for the past 4 years. Originally from Indonesia. Well… there is nothing really amazing about me that will make you want to keep reading this. I completed bachelor degree in Business Management and continued master study in MBA IT and currently working in one of the company in Malaysia. I do not know how to describe about my self well. I think I like design so much.. I trapped my self in wrong major, and sometimes still regret the decision did not take the interior design course. Lol.. Don't take it so serious. I wish that I studied interior design so then I can work my passion but does not mean that I become a useless person and miserable now. 

I love images rather than writing. I love putting attention on details. I could spend hours just to put attention on designs all around me. I love to try a lot of crafts, and enjoy to do it. A lot of people might feel so bored to go to home decor shop, home depot, hardware shop, crafts store and so forth... But all of those places are the most fun places for me. 

Making DIY projects is so much fun. I am proud of my self when I am able to turn priceless stuffs to something worthwhile. I am satisfied when i can fix something with less budget. I learn something when I failed to do the project, and try again until I get the desire look. I imagine something and apply it to my handmade works. I can be with my self when I do the projects. I get inspiration from others and willing to inspire and share ideas to others as well.

For the projects that I made, they are designed for those who like to create changes with less budget. Instead of doing projects which require me to spend a lot, I choose the less cost projects so then everyone can try it out without spending a lot of cash. For me, basic concept of DIY project is less cost and replace something pricy with inexpensive handmade items. I always try to look for the affordable price materials in order to achieve the look that I want.

Here in Art Holistic, I always try to share the materials that I use, the places where I get them and also the prices, so then it gives idea to others about the cost of each project. The items that I introduce here, usually those that are worth to use.

Anyway, I was not really a writing person. Until I realised I did a lot of projects and thought to share it with others to share ideas. I wish that I could start to write in blog earlier so then I could share a lot of things which I did earlier. Forget about the past, not only for blog but also for life, we need to move on. So I created this blog to share ideas with those who like to do art and design without having to spend a lot. Creative doesn’t mean that you need to spend a lot. Creativity is to utilise the priceless things to be a practical, and worthy things. 

Here we are in Art Holistic to share our ideas. Anyways, please forgive my English. I know… I have a very poor English, lol. But trough writing in this blog, hopefully I can improve a lot. Cheers. 

Please allow me to introduce my lovely team. This is Libu. 2+ years old. He contributes nothing for this blog. But he always there to accompany me doing my projects. 

This blog is not only about doing DIY projects, but also about art, home design, home organisation, tips and tricks, or many other things that we can share. We will discuss about switching “buying items” with our “home made items”, turn priceless things into practical and worthwhile things, and some life hacks. 

For the projects that I made, I will share you the step-by-step process  that you can follow and where to get the stuffs with good price.
